Anyone interested in finding out more about how comics work, and their place in the wider spheres of art and literature, should pop over to The Comics Grid, a collaborative blog of renowned comic scholars. They’ve published quite a few fascinating articles, on subjects as diverse as The Authority, Richard McGuire, Jason and Big Numbers, so there’s something for everyone. Now if only we can persuade them to get a few more articles on UK comics up there, they’ll be complete!

Check them out at The Comics Grid, follow them on twitter, and like them on facebook, for top-notch writing on the art form we all love.
